Choose pictures or complete slides
A slide may combine photographs, text, shapes, and charts. Image extraction is useful when you need a photograph itself. Export the slide in a presentation editor when you need everything composed together.
Prepare a supported presentation
Use a readable PPTX file. Convert a legacy PPT using a compatible editor. Remove protection only when you are authorized to do so; the extractor does not bypass it.
Review the extracted pictures
Upload the PPTX, run extraction, and compare the results with the slides. A photograph may be stored once and used repeatedly, while an asset cropped on a slide may be stored uncropped. Do not assume a result filename is a slide number.
Inspect a package locally
As an alternative, open a copy of the PPTX with a ZIP-compatible archive utility and inspect ppt/media. It may contain other media as well as images. Work on a copy and preserve the original presentation.
Know what will not become a picture
Editable charts, grouped shapes, and text may not exist as independent raster images. Slide export is a better choice for preserving their combined appearance.
